Not much sewing has been happening. The spring cleaning bug bit me (better late than never…although it’s technically still spring for another week). The gardens are mostly all planted and weeding has begun in full force. For me, sewing is a winter time thing mostly, but that doesn’t mean I don’t keep up on sales and the acquisition of pretty fabrics 🙂
I bought a charm pack of Lotta Jansdotter’s Glimma line and a charm pack of Shelburne Falls by Denyse Schmidt. I’ve never sewn with anything by Denyse Schmidt, so I’m very excited to give it a go. I don’t have any specific patterns or projects in mind for these…maybe a super simple patchwork baby quilt or some sort of improv-y type thing.
I also bought a spool of Aurifil thread. I had never tried this thread before until I won some in a giveaway. And, I must say, all of the rave reviews are right on from my experience so far. So, I’m slowly expanding my collection.
I’m linking up with Thursday Threads! Stop by and see what everyone else is up to!

I am a convert to Aurifil 🙂 I even scored a color card for it.
